Details:

SME Chapter 186 will have a tour at John Deere Drivetrain Operations on October 26, 2023.  The event will share information on the unique technology of the automated laser welding systems producing complex welded assemblies using non-contact fiber lasers.  These high-quality assemblies are currently used in the John Deere 8R and 9R tractor transmissions.  This meeting will include a presentation, tour, and will be followed by dinner.

5:00 – 5:30 PM: Arrival, Check-in, meet/greet

5:30 – 6:30 PM: Tour and presentation

6:30 PM: Q&A, followed by Carlos O' Kelley's Catering
