SME 186’s monthly meeting will be a presentation of Tech Works Project by MCG Composites. Sam McCord is a CEO of MCG Biocomposites, LLC. The facility is located on Westfield Avenue in the old building of John Deere. In February 2007 Deere & Company donated 40 acres and several building adjacent to their Advanced Manufacturing Center to Tech Works. In mid-2007 Tech Works completed the demolition of several buildings and began preparations for the build out of the Tech Works campus. This will be a combination of the tour of the facility as well as presentation of on going work at Tech Works. This would be an excellent opportunity to observe the operation of Tech Works. Please mark your calendar and register to attend this event.
