Topic: Strategic Planning
Presentation By: Angela Johanningmeier
Angela Johanningmeier will share some insights on the Strategic Planning process and tools used by John Deere. This will provide you with a better understanding of the 3-5 year Strategic Planning process and different tools available to develop a strong strategic plan to manage risk and successfully plan to achieve your growth ambitions. John Deere uses a quality production system to ensure all processes are aligned and followed throughout their organization. They measure their performance and continuously identify and implement opportunities to improve their business.
Angela is the Strategic Planning Manager for the John Deere Large Tractor Product Line, which includes factories in Waterloo, Brazil and China. She has worked for John Deere the past 15 years in a variety of positions including Supply Management, Marketing, Territory Management, Training Development and Strategic Planning. Angela is actively involved in the Community through United Way, Women’s Philanthropy Connection (WPC) and she recently volunteered her time to support and develop a Strategic Plan for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank.
