This tour will be hosted by the UNI SME student Chapter 126, led by Department Head Dr. Lisa Riedle & Faculty Advisers for UNI SME Chapter 126 Dr. Scott Giese.
The UNI Department of Technology was formed in the fall of 1975 and is home to several majors for UNI, including: Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Technology and Engineering Education, Graphics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology. The department in addition to undergraduate classes also offers a Master of Science in Technology and Doctor of Technology programs.
Agenda:
5:00 - 5:10: “Meet and greet” at main entrances of UNI Department of Technology building
5:10 - 5:30: Presentation in Room 3: by Dr. Riedle & Dr. Giese
5:30 - 6:15: “Tour of ITC” by Dr. Riedle & Dr. Giese and “Panther Pullers Production area” by Justin Lieb
6:15 – 6:30: Q&A & wrap up Session
6:45 – 7:45: Dinner at Whiskey Road 402 Main Street Cedar Falls, IA 50613
